Professional Achievements
Gloria Waldrip, LMT5 has received many awards, including the Mississippi Chapter AMTA Meritorious Award (1999),
a Commendation from the Governor of Mississippi for work done during Hurricane Katrina Relief, a Commendation
from Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) State Department of Health for massage work done during
Hurricane Katrina Relief. During the first year of operation, WCTM achieved a 100% pass rate of State Board exams.
Education
Gloria is a graduate of Saltillo High School, Saltillo, MS (1975) and a graduate of Inez Van Winkle School
of Massage Therapy (August 1995). She has over 200 hours of continuing education and is a Mississippi approved
presenter of Continuing Education.
Tracy holds a national certification in massage therapy and occupational therapy. He holds Mississippi state Licensure
in massage (LMT# 696- MHA), Mississippi board certified massage instructor and Mississippi state board licensure in occupational therapy.
He is a member in good standing with the American Massage Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
He has treated orthopedic injuries and pain syndromes since 1996, where he began treating in an outpatient industrial rehabilitation clinic in
Memphis, TN. Tracy has special interests in: causes, triggers, and treatment of headaches; upper extremity pain resulting from Thoracic
Outlet Syndrome (TOS), tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), as well as other nerve compressions, and ergonomics (how work affects human function).
Tracy incorporates a holistic approach when treating his clients - quality/quantity of sleep, posture, stress, daily activities and dietary habits all
play a critical role when he helps others in helping themselves. He says, " I want my clients to have the knowledge to know how to treat and help
themselves so that they may overcome their pain and discomfort."
Tracy also incorporates all of his knowledge and expertise in teaching
students to become successful therapists. His approach to teaching is of the highest regard to all those in his instruction.
